Christian Montessori integrates the scientifically-proven Montessori method with the spiritual formation of children in Christ. It recognizes that children are not merely cognitive beings, but whole persons—mind, body, and spirit—created in the image and likeness of God.

Maria Montessori had a lot to say on the subject - published and unpublished. However, we do not have as much work from her as we would like on the integration of this life into the school day/year.
Many who have carried on her work rooted in the Christian faith have explored various approaches to integrating faith into Montessori classrooms. Our school, Discovery House implements the principles of Christian Montessori through:
